Second Grading Period

High school has been a very interesting experience for me.  It has definitely had its highs and lows and many confusing experiences in between.  Overall, I feel like I have been equipped for not only college, but also life as a whole.  High school has taught me many things, both academically and emotionally.  It has revealed and exposed my true colors, both good and bad, and as a result, has built many aspects of my character.   This second grading, i know that i doesn't learn a lot unlike others because of extra activities outside the classroom but i know that i had enjoy every single hour that passes through behind.
It's the most important part of living right?
Enjoying and making every hour a  very good one because in our stage now, we're already making our futures, our soon to bes' ,our family to be, to whom shall we marry. So that's why let's enjoy the moment.
this second grading was very fun, a lot of discussions but it has  lot.
Thinking anlyzing skills  were also something that had to be developed over the course of my years within high school.  Even though this is computer language, I had to learn how to learn.  I had to learn how to use efficient learning techniques that worked best for me.  I realized that the way that I learned was not always the way that my teachers expected or even wanted me to learn.
That's all,Thank you!=)

new born hero

I remember so many times when I was little when I had migraine or my arthritis was acting up that my mom would take care of me unconditionally, rub my legs endlessly or hold my head out of the toilet. When I'd have a nightmare she would never yell at me for sneaking into her bed in the early morning hours. As a teen I was her shadow, but she never complained to me, she just let me tag along while my siblings did their own things.

With another Mother's day behind us, how many of us can really ever thank our mothers for what they do for us? I know that I for one can never thank my mother enough for what she has done for me.

She was there when I graduated from college and wore a huge smile on her face, she was proud of me as I walked across that stage. She threw a reception for me and held baby showers in my honor.
Mom was there when I was dealing with life and at times screwing it up but she was there when I needed a hand with anything. She would just gently steer me back on course. When life would get me down she would tell me that it is always darkest before the dawn. She's always been my greatest support keeping me up when life tried to bowl me under.
On the worst days of my life, mom has been there with a gentle sprit and an unwavering love. When I had my first child a daughter and we both almost died as I gave birth to her my mom was there to yell at the doctor and say shake a stick. When I found out my husband was cheating on me, she and dad rushed to my side.
There is not a mother's day gift in the world that could ever say thank you for everything she has done for us over the years. A simple thank you will never be enough for the kindness and love she has shown to us over the years and neither is a tropical vacation. What do you give a woman who has unconditionally given every thing she has to her family? There is no answer, at least none that I know of
Perhaps the answer lies in using the knowledge she gave me, the kindness she has shown me and unconditional love she has shown us. Perhaps if I can be the best mom I can be, be the best friend I can be perhaps that will show her how much I appreciate her being my mom.

english proficiency

Because English is so widely spoken, it has often been referred to as a "world language", the lingua franca of the modern era, and while it is not an official language in most countries, it is currently the language most often taught as a foreign language.

The history of the English language really started with the arrival of three Germanic tribes who invaded Britain during the 5th century AD. These tribes, the Angles, the Saxons and the Jutes, crossed the North Sea from what today is Denmark and northern Germany. At that time the inhabitants of Britain spoke a Celtic language. But most of the Celtic speakers were pushed west and north by the invaders - mainly into what is now Wales, Scotland and Ireland. The Angles came from England and their language was called Englisc - from which the words England and English are derived.

Approximately 375 million people speak English as their first language. English today is probably the third largest language by number of native speakers, after Mandarin Chinese and Spanish. However, when combining native and non-native speakers it is probably the most commonly spoken language in the world, though possibly second to a combination of the Chinese languages (depending on whether or not distinctions in the latter are classified as "languages" or "dialects"). Countries such as the Philippines, Jamaica and Nigeria also have millions of native speakers of dialect continua ranging from an English-based creole to a more standard version of English.

Energy security through energy conservation.
No human activity is possible without energy. Despite Human beings being the superior being among all living things and matter on this planet, capable of controlling almost all things blessed by nature,   we can hardly live without them. For such a long time in human history, human muscle power have been increasingly supplemented by energy of draught animals and whenever feasible, sunshine, wind and falling water stream were also harnessed. It was only after the industrial revolution in Europe, the use of energy from fossil fuels became known to us and its use has been ever-increasing as the economies of the world accelerates against one another. No nation can even barely exist without it.
Energy can be broadly classified into two forms- renewable and non-renewable sources of energy. Non-renewable sources of energy includes almost all those exhaustible sources of energy such as coal, petroleum and natural gas where as renewable sources of energy includes those inexhaustible sources such as tidal energy, solar energy, geothermal energy and others that have a regenerative capacity.
When the question of conservation arises, we mean that of non-renewable sources of energy. Ever since the need of different forms of energy has been recognized, there has been fear of depletion due to overutilization of it. The more goods we produce to satisfy our multiple wants, the more non-renewable natural resources get exhausted beyond the nature’s assimilative capacity to regenerate it. Imagine life without energy; no modern man cannot ménage to live a single day without its use.   At this point, there arises a need to conserve it, such that we can sustain the life that we enjoy today to the future, such that our future generation can get a little bit of what we had today. Our actions today should be in such a way that our energy needs in the future will be secured.

hero

I have always looked up to my mom from as far back as I can remember. She has always been there for me through everything possible. She has formed me into the person I am today.
Without her help, I honestly believe that I wouldn’t be the strong, focused, caring individual who stands before you. There are three specific instances in my life that are very crucial to the forming of the person I became. My mom was there for all three of them. Unfortunately, two of them involve cheating death. The last one couldn’t be cheated. The first instance started on October 15, 1987 between the hours of 10:00pm to midnight. My mom had been in labor with me for the past couple of hours. She had been up all day and was exhausted by the hard work she was dealing with. She had no idea the worst was yet to come. Getting closer to the end of her labor, as her contractions worsened, she felt the pain would be over soon and that she would be holding a new baby in her arms. As each contraction came, the nurses noticed that my heartbeat would drop severely by each one. As my mother described, as soon as this happened, a pack of nurses came bursting into the delivery room like a herd of Green bay Packers. After such an entrance, the nurses had the nerve to tell my mother not to panic. They told her to remain calm but how could a mother do so?
The nurses soon learned that the umbilical cord was wrapped tightly around my neck two times. Each time my mother had a contraction, the cord would tighten, and I was losing oxygen that was to be getting to my brain. The nurses also learned that I was in my mother at a sideways angle and there was no way I could be delivered properly because of the awkward angle and the choking of the umbilical cord. I could not be delivered because I would be hung.
That’s my i’ll consider my mother as my hero, my only hero.today, tomorrow and forever..=D

trial only pass by

Looking back on my life I see that I have made many mistakes. All due to my lack of patience and never listening to what my elders told me. If I had only listened to their words of wisdom and took into consideration what was told, I would have saved myself a lot of trouble.

However I took my own path and did things my way, not following the guidance of my elders.

I still remember what my grandparents told me like it was just yesterday. He told me “Only fools rush in, What goes around comes around, and education is most important.”

The first valuable lesson I learned was when my teachers discuss the parts of computers, the use of it and how to use it. It started at sixth grade when iwas in elementary school was a totally new thing. I began to have many knowledge about it could really impress me because I can do my assignments easier, faster and more comfortable by the use of computer. One day I realized that I am to obsess with my girl friend. My grandfather warned me to stay more focused in school. I told him not to worry because I could always figure my way out. He also told me to work my way through anything that I wanted and “Only fools rush in”, but whatever he said seemed to go from one ear through the other. I started to come to school late every day because of I and my girlfriends misunderstanding. If I did come on time, I wish would slept in class cause I have no appetite to study. I missed a lot of homework and class activities. So, I was already behind the class before I even knew about it. I did not know what to do when the final was about to come. I cried in my ict teacher room and tell all things that was happened, she cheer me up and said ‘’there’s nothing wrong when you think there was nothing wrong you’ve done but if there was,  double time and hurry up it will ever be too late for people who was surrendering much effort.’’ It seemed like the lessons get tougher as I grow older.
At least now, I know, I have done so many mistakes but it will serve as a wall to ponder on when I am losing my  hope and faith, and now it’s time to move on, I will be a good boy ,a good student, a good leader.

insights of SONA

President PNoy's 3rd Sona was extremely satisfying to an ordinary person like me who work hard to support PNoy as president for a specific purpose, that is to reform government leading to peace and development! As the boss of PNoy I am giving him the performance grade of 90 percent as of today. I can stand and walk with dignity that my president has met my aspirations for my country. Finally, the flickering of the light at the end of the tunnel is becoming brighter for peace and development. God bless the Philippines. PNoy's performance is making a significant difference that augurs well with ending the armed conflict by the showing of government’s capacity to deliver basic services like food, health and education. Within these two years, under PNoy's central economic policy Public Private Partnership (PPP), the public has been troubled with unabated price increase in oil and petroleum products, water and power rates. This has impacted the access to food and basic utilities and services of not only the poorest of the poor, but as well as of working middle class. For Bayan, the Conditional Cash Transfer, the 4Ps, the Pantawid Pasada have all failed to augment  the economic burdens of the working and middle class while demands for jobs, straight salary, land and genuine agrarian reform, basic social services continue to be the least of PNoy's programs. We're right. Today's Sona has nothing to offer any substantive agenda for the environment and well-being of the people. It talks about the influx of foreign investments, to be more dependent on these, which set the tone for the push for charter change, particularly removing the protectionist supplies on the economy of the constitution. It means steal development projects for the few elite not for the majority. It's more of the old public speaking and promises. The previous administrations have done that but failed because they implemented the same anti-people neoliberal economic policies of liberalization, privatization, and deregulation, which have been widely opposed by the people.

Oo.

letter for the President

Brgy. Dongalo San Ildefonso, Ilocos Sur
June 22, 2o12
Dear Benigno Aquino III,
                        Everything changes, doesn’t it?
As time passes by, our country is falling and falling. Our natural resources decreases, but our population increases so we should work now, move now in order for us to save the left or any more existing natural resources, we should work and work and work, you should work, you should lead us on top not to the bottom. In your more than two years of existence, of having the power what are the things that you’ve done? Are there any changes in country?  Did our economics go up? Or it goes down because of your immaturity?
I know and you know that we are only persons. We are only made of god or lord. We are not perfect, we cannot do anything we want but we can do impossible things if we all work together, if our leader is not a ‘word man’ but is an ‘action man’. And you, you our president keep on talking and talking before but now, where are your words? Did it degrade already or it’s just an airplane that passes in just a few minute?
I am so sorry if I am a little bit harsh on you our dear president but I just want you to know that if that two years that you’ve spent doesn’t have done anything for us, maybe please move now, double time because there are no more second chance for you, your term is enough to wake us up Filipino people. So please don’t waste the trust that your voters had given you, don’t mess-up whit us your people.
I wish you don’t use the name of your mother or father because because of you, it has already destroyed.

                                                                                                    Respectfully yours,
                                                                                               Jhalus Coco P. Salasar
